Pugbun vs Tailcat contest - 20000points prize pool
Dear comrades!
The loathsome creature devoid of honor that goes by the name of Tailcat has crossed the line! This vile creature listens to lame music, doesn't do the dishes, and what's worst of all, doesn't put crayons back on their place. This and many other breaches of good manners escalated to the point at which I was forced to declare war! Stand by my side my brothers and sisters! For music! For crayons! For the dishes!
The peace between Pugbunistan and Tailcatia lasted for many years but it's over now! Pick a side and help your army defeat the enemy once and for all!
If your bravery and artistic input will be enough to harm our

I'm frequently asked how I learned to draw and the answer is very simple - a large part of my knowledge is self taught from books. That's why I thought it would be a good idea to share some titles I owned or came across and used them through the years. Hopefully someone will find this list useful :3

Movie Talk: Animated Movie Poster/Cover Rant
Since my journal needs an update i thought hey, why not posting this here, too. This is an art site after all and should be interesting to you as well.
I am someone who might be called a "cineaste" - because it's true. I friggin' LOVE movies. I love watching them, collecting them, doing research, listening to audio commentaries and learning about the backgrounds. And i always had a soft spot for animated motion pictures. Still do. Disney is awesome, so is Dreamworks and the not so wellknown ones.
Lately i went through my DVD-Collection once more and...i just realised again how MUCH i despise the awful covers that go along with most of the a
It's time to refresh the tutorial journal! Added some new ones and removed those which, after some time, I found a bit misleading.
Below you'll find a list of tutorials I personally think of as the best on dA. If I have any problems with painting something I usually take a look at one of those.
Is there anything you're having troubles with? Need help looking for a good tutorial? Or maybe you'd like to see a video walk-through of me painting something?
I'm open for suggestions for what kind of tutorial/walk-through you'd like to see from me. If you're interested in anything, post your suggestions in the comments!
